Dr. Rav Khazai

Dr. Rav Khazai is a fellowship trained orthopaedic traumatologist, who specializes in the management of complex fractures.  He joins our surgical team in caring for patients who have experienced traumatic injuries and fractures, or who require post-traumatic reconstruction procedures.  His clinical interests include all types of fracture care, with particular expertise in complex fracture management, minimally invasive fracture surgery, and injuries to the pelvis and acetabulum. His reconstructive services include repair of malunions and nonunions, and limb deformity correction. He is active in clinical research and surgical education.

Dr. Khazai earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He then went on to complete a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Chicago Medical Center, followed by further subspecialty training with a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma at the University of California Davis Medical Center. There, he became involved in the AO Trauma International organization, dedicated to education, high quality patient care, and surgical outreach worldwide. He was selected for a prestigious traveling fellowship in orthopaedic trauma at the esteemed Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV) in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he received additional training from world experts in trauma surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and AO Trauma North America.

Dr. Khazai provides surgical trauma care at Good Samaritan Medical Center, and St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. He offers postoperative follow up, and consultations for trauma and fracture patients at the SMG Orthopedics & Fracture Clinic, 3 Washington St., Suite 200, North Easton, MA, 508-205-9630.
